 This site is being provided to share family information in an accessible way. If you are interested in our family's history (or just want to know who your long-lost cousins are), I hope it will give you the answers you're seeking. PRIVACY CONCERNS All information about living persons is in graphic format and not searchable or listed by first name only. Because the web is still a potentially public arena, the data tables on descendants (including all living persons) have been omitted. They are available upon request via email.

Because of the space required, only a few photos have been chosen. See the photo indexes below for the samples included for each family. In the Ancestor Data Tables, there is a column which indicates if a photo is available for this person (sometimes many photos, sometimes only one). If you have a photo for a person where none is indicated, I would greatly appreciate knowing about it. Where possible I would like add a copy to the files. A Kruse Family Photo Gallery has been added. Galleries for other families are pending. The oval picture at the top of the page is of the Wilhelm and Abel Kruse farm west of Bennington, NE taken around 1915 and colored by the photographer. The original is a very large, curved photo in an oval frame with a curved glass cover which hangs in the Vern and Mildred Kruse home.
With the help of several other people, I have been working to compile as much information as possible on each of the families included. (A special thanks to Jan Reimer for gathering most of the information and photos on the Kruse and Petersen families.) While I have tried to be as careful as possible, mistakes continue to appear, and the need for updates is perpetual.
